Great place to stay in KC. Close to the action.

Liked: Gorgeous hotel. Great staff. Awesome room. Good breakfast. Close to our venue.
Disliked: We didn't get a welcome bag when others checking in did. No tub.

Great hotel; great price. We walked to the Sprint Center and did not have to mess with traffic.

Liked: Nice and clean.
Disliked: Nothing.

Nice, but wildly overpriced

Liked: Location was great for me, as I ended up walking from Union Station with a large array of "luggage". Rather than keeping the luggage for me, they had a room available and checked me in early. They also held it for a bit while I went and got the rental car to leave town.
Disliked: The door to the sidewalk was locked at an hour when the sign says it isn't supposed to be; the front desk was unattentive and I had to wait for another customer to let me in just to check in. The place isn't that old and already showing a lot of wear and tear. The proximity to Union Station and the Streetcar was the only thing that came close to justifying the price, and I don't imagine too many other customers are arriving in that manner. I moved on to another city and got a beautiful extended stay with a better "kitchen" for less than half the price.

One Saturday Night

Liked: There was basic cutlery and cookware in the kitchenette, the mini store in the lobby was convenient, breakfast was much better quality than expected, location was extremely convenient, the security system for entry was reassuring, the proximity to the tram system and a convince store is very nice, and the staff was extremely helpful with special note regarding checking our luggage before and after our stay.
Disliked: The breakfast did not include waffles on the weekends but the breakfast sandwiches made up for it and the pool appears too small from the lobby to be appealing but it's understandable since it's on the second floor.

Liked: Good location, room had kitchen
Disliked: Very expensive for what it was and 4pm check in

Fine Room - Wouldn’t stay...

Liked: Bed was comfortable and room was big and quiet.
Disliked: The room was kinda dirty when we checked in: makeup on the pillow, hair on the night stand, a wireless headphone and rhinestones on the carpet. The breakfast also left quite a bit to be desired. We picked this location for an event nearby but there wasn’t really much to do in the area and we had to take a 20 min Uber to anything else.

It was a short distance...

Liked: We stayed here because we had an early morning procedure at Children’s Mercy and it was close to the hospital.
Disliked: We liked everything about the property.

Liked: The breakfast was the best I've had at any hotel I've stayed at
Disliked: The pool was small
