Great Hotel, walking distance to...

Liked: We have stayed here previously, and the staff this time around were so much nicer and accommodating! They had a recent remodel, so the carpet and counter tops in the rooms looked new and the lobby looked like it had a fresh makeover. The pool was fantastic this time around! There were some chillier (and windy) days while we were there, and we were still able to use the pool as it was heated. The beds were pretty comfortable, and we had a partial view of the ocean. They are super pet friendly from what we witnessed! They have doggie stations set up on the property, and special do not disturb signs for those with pets. Even though it was pet friendly it was still clean and quiet! Another plus is the parking is FREE this year since the remodel. The beach, the candy shop and The Back Porch restaurant are all within walking distance from the hotel. About a 3-4 min walk.
Disliked: The breakfast could use some improvements. It wasn’t bad, just ok. Maybe some fresh berries and whipped cream to go on the waffles and/or some fresh cut melon. Some other breakfast options besides waffles, breakfast sandwiches and cheesy eggs.
