Liked: It's clean
Disliked: The pool and restaurant are in the other sister's hotel, not in the same facility. On arrival, our reservation was not found. Even though I showed them our reservation and the call, they made me a few hours prior. We encountered 2 guests who were absolutely drunk and very nasty. The restaurant was one of the worst experiences as no one came over to try to serve or assist us as we came in. Every worker was walking past as looking but not stopped once to ask if we would like a menu or anything. However, they did visit the rest of the table nearby several times without asking us anything. Very sad the way the wait staff never acknowledge us. We are a Spanish couple who has never experienced what we experienced at this hotel. We are from Plainville, CT, and have been in town for several years and decided to check this hotel out for a little getaway. Unfortunately, it was the worst experience.I review many places and restaurants. This is actually my 1st bad review in years. Very disappointing.

It met our needs.
Liked: Breakfast was ok. The food was well-prepared. Nice little omelet and good oatmeal. Exercise room was up too date and easy to use. Grage felt safe and out of the weather. The little kitchen in the suite was sweet and useful as well. The rooms were quiet.
Disliked: But no real half-and-half or milk for coffee or oatmeal. You have to take a full milk container to get a little. A little fresh-cut fruit would be lovely.

The room was nice and...
Liked: Very clean and the parking garage was free. Very nice amenity.
Disliked: I am a rewards member, but it wasn’t told to me upon check in that I would have to pay for parking in the garage if I was not a member. That is something that should be disclosed during checkin. That’s gives the customer the option to use the garage or park in the lot.

Liked: The staff and the facilities are the best thing about this place. The staff are very friendly and helpful. and they have lots of facilities like a game room, a hot tub and a pool area and a restaurant in the adjoining Hilton hotel.
Disliked: breakfast was disappointing. Fruits were not fresh, service was slow and options were very limited.

Superb other than the obvious...
Liked: Everything..great room with everything you could want, great breakfast, great staff (except see below).
Disliked: The emergency warning system went off at approx 2:30PM Friday night 2/7/25. We were told to exit the building immediately. They did NOT say to use the stairs and avoid the elevators, but I know better. We were not told what caused the alert after it was over (approx 20-30 minutes, fire engines came.). This was in Home2Suites Bristol. We went next door to the Hilton Doubletree where we were able to wait inside as it was cold outside. Their staff did not know much more either. All in all disconcerting for a new facility, and not being told what caused the incident was a little troubling...the firefighter must have know and checked it out. Hard to believe they didn't tell security/staff working that night what the issue was and how it was resolved, so they could inform the guests. Wanted to understand that it was completely safe to go back to our rooms, which we did anyway. Mentioned it to the front desk today and no further cause information was extended.
