Liked: Extremely clean, excellent facilities, great breakfast, friendly staff, a delicious Italian restaurant right across the way, felt safe and secure.

Liked: It was a good location for visiting my family and easy to get to. Breakfast was good but could have had a little more variety and location right in lobby wasn’t perfect. But it was good.
Disliked: More variety for breakfast and location eating not directly in lobby

It's the little things that...

Liked: Lovely wee stopover in Bakersfield to see the Christmas lights. As the name suggests... this does feel more like a home away from home rather than a standard hotel which was lovely. Easy access for laundry and nice staff.
Disliked: Nothing to note.

Disliked: We reached at night. The surrounding air was fully covered in smoke, talk about air pollution from nearby factories. The floor and walls had some stains on them. Breakfast was ok, but the staff was bad, how long does it take to refill bread? There was a wait time for more than 20 min for items. Most items were empty and the staff couldn’t care less

Liked: Room had a strange odor. Staff corrected the situation and moved us to another room. Fairly clean rooms and friendly staff.
Disliked: Second time I've stayed in the hotel in last 3 weeks. Second elevator was still out of order. Key card did not work on the back door during night and early morning. Inconvenient when out at the pool or walking your dog.
