Liked: Breakfast was overall fine. My objection is that there is no black tea served anywhere in the hotel, not in rooms nor at breakfast. When I asked about it as I was puzzled, the staff said that it was a corporate decision to serve only mint and green tea. That seems very odd to me. Surely black is the typical breakfast tea in America. The staff had a large box of it behind the counter and happily gave me one when I asked on the second morning; perhaps if I had known I could have asked on the first morning as well.
Disliked: The swimming pool was so cold that no one was in it, despite there being quite a few kids in the hotel. We tried and could not tolerate it. And there are multiple reviews indicating that this is a known issue, not a break down. I specifically chose hotels where they could swim and so they were quite disappointed. They enjoyed all the other ones on their vacation. I guess I should have looked at the reviews more carefully before I booked it.
