Superb

Liked: Beautiful location, clean comfortable room at a very good price.
Disliked: The shower was great except it occasionally ran too hot or too cold for short snaps

Appalling

Liked: The staff especially Katie and Paul the night manager.
Disliked: Filthy, thick mold in bathroom especially around the bath, which is a health hazard. Chipped enamel in bath. Thick cobwebs around bathroom mirror. Badly stained mattress, which is total unacceptable. I definitely would not be able to recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff were very good and did their best to try and re allocate us to a different room but room offered was not suitable as bathroom was not on suite and involved a walk along a corridor. I do not usually complain but this hotel, given the standard of the room (room 36) should not be accepting guests.

Overall , I would recommend...

Liked: The location, the breakfast, the staff
Disliked: The room that we got given at first was very cold and radiator could not be adjusted in any way to get heat , we mentioned it to the receptionist and they said they would send someone to fix it but they didn’t. We also could not sleep as there was air conditioning and some kind of generator on roof just outside are window and was so loud , eventually we had to be moved to a different room which was much better.
