We chose the hotel due to proximity to Lincoln Theater. Hotel was conveniently located for venue, sightseeing, bars, and restaurants. We are senior citizens and felt very safe walking in daylight and nighttime.

Liked: Location; comfortable beds and pillows; clean! Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Liked: Great hotel just a little pricey for what it was

Good location and decent value...

Liked: Location is convenient to the National Mall and Smithsonian. Room was clean and bedding was comfy. Breakfast buffet comped at ground level restaurant was well prepared and good variety.
Disliked: No counter space in bathroom. We got a walk-in shower, so I can't say about other rooms. You must have your key to use the elevator, which is sometimes inconvenient. They do have parking for the hotel, but it will cost you.

The Holiday Inn is excellent.

Liked: Rooms were clean - Rom 818. Nice view of the city!Breakfast was basic - limited fruits - green apples not nice. Bananas were fine. Front desk staff were super!
Disliked: Staff at the restaurant especially whites were funny - a bit not interested in serving black folks. I greeted one who pretended to be busy and not hearing. SO, when I walked away, then he answered but in a funny tone!Sunday was the worst experience - long queue and lean staff in the kitchen.
