Overall, it was a decent, safe hotel if you are on a mid range budget. Don't expect to save too much money, though, because it's downtown Toronto.

Liked: It's clean; there are tons of restaurants within walking distance that are open late; elevators work; good customer service; comfortable bed; the rooms, bathrooms and lobby were aesthetically pleasing.
Disliked: The entrance to the parking garage is dangerously narrow; there's no pickup/drop off area; breakfast is not included with every room.

We spent the weekend at the hotel and it was clean, room service was awesome and the staff were very friendly and helpful. No complaints with anything!

Disliked: Late check out, after 12.00 p.m., is charged 15$ per hour.

Need to have parking included in the price and needs a microwave in rooms. Exellent service and staff, great maid service. Friendly and gay positive staff.

Liked: We loved the breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. The staff is helpful and accommodating. The location is excellent, close to the subway stop. The front desk employees are very nice.
Disliked: The window in our room was very drafty, we had to use a towel to block the draft. But really it was not a big deal.

Disliked: I paid over $2,000 for two people for three days. I expected a hotel with opulence to the extreme, that was not the case. The parking garage for the hotel was not convenient to find. The ceiling of the parking garage was so low that it scraped the luggage rack of my vehicle. I had to drag my pieces of luggage to an elevator and once I got to the small lobby I had to ask for help, it wasn’t given without asking. The premises of the hotel was not that great. The terrace outside where there should be beautiful gardening with outside seating looked like it had not been attended to for years. It was not clean in hallways, the work out room, etc. I was not told that breakfast didn’t come with my reservation and I was very embarrassed when I was seated and then asked for my breakfast ticket and I didn’t have one and was told I couldn’t eat there. My husband and I only stay at Holiday Inn’s when traveling and this will not be one we will return to. I thought I had booked directly with Holiday Inn so I could get points for this stay and when I checked out, the desk person said I was not going to get my points but she felt bad and gave them to me anyway.

Disliked: Second time staying at this hotel (a year apart) and both times they had multiple fire alarms. They really should fix that. Room was kinda small for its price. Also very strong perfume in the lobby. Not good for those with allergies.
