Went to the Sinbad comedy show. Hotels close to EQC were either full, too expensive or roach motels. Red Lion was decent for a one night stay. Died laughing when Sinbad made a joke about the Red Lion.

Liked: Just off the highway for easy drive to EQC.
Disliked: Hotel a little dated.

Great location and breakfast

Liked: The breakfast was great! Very good value, included choice of an entree, juice, and tea or coffee. Staff were friendly. The location was great, close to plenty of dining and shopping options and a quick stop off the interstate for our overnight stay.

Bad

Liked: The facility was terrible , I don't plan on ever visiting y here again .
Disliked: It was disgustingly filthy . The pull out sofa bed was completely broken and I did pay for a room with a working pull out sofa bed .

Wouldn’t recommend

Liked: Location was okay , the rooms looked to be updated somewhat. Near I-5
Disliked: Limited parking due to the comedy club attached to the facility. Very noisy in the room, thumping and voices from above sounded like they were in your room. They had ear plugs on the counter by the TV and a website for white noise? We got in late the first night and as we got off the elevator the smell of the carpet deodorizer in the hall was so strong it triggered an allergic response for me. We went out on the second day and returned to find that the housekeeper had left her cleaning cloth on the counter and there was an earwig (bug) in the first square of the toilet paper, on the roll, as it was placed. You could see it through the paper. The manager took 30.00 off the second night. All things considered, I feel it was overpriced for the quality, or lack of, yfor a big chain. We’ve stayed at family run and older places on this trip that were nicer.
