Liked: There weren’t any drawers in the room to unpack clothes. The restaurant seemed a bit expensive for breakfast and there were a lot of homeless people in the area.

Liked: Downtown location, walking distance to restaurants are stores. Rooms were clean. Pool is a good size though probably better suited for older children (8+).
Disliked: Great location though be aware there was construction on Granville & Hemlecken, which made it difficult to turn into hotel. Would have been great for hotel to let you know prior to arrival. The parking is $40 a night which was NOT properly described in the booking website. Upon inquiring about this charge (which was unplanned for us), staff said that I couldve have booked the stay with parking included, but this is not the case after checking on the app. I also contacted Booking.com about this issue, I was told they would speak to the hotel and get back to us. They never did and the charges were made. The staff could have been nicer about it, and Booking needs to make this clear on their app, otherwise I would have stayed in another hotel since the additional 120 dollars did matter for our budget.

Liked: Great location, good breakfast and the rooms were as shown in the pictures.
Disliked: The to go breakfast was terrible: didn’t like the fact that I could not choose what I wanted.What I was told to expect in the bag and what I got was not the same.

Liked: The room is clean and comfortable
Disliked: When booking with Booking.com I booked 2 adults and a 14 yr old. It is advertized free breakfast but only 2 people can get the free breakfast even though we thought it was for all three. The hotel manager stated that is the issue with booking with booking.com also thought we had free parking but had to pay for that as well. The room was right across from the elevator so we got very little sleep as it was noisy with people always coming and going and the elevator noice through the night.

Liked: Hotel and staff were amazing, clean and comfortable.Parking is expensive $40/day. Hotel restaurant is extremely expensive for the food but overall, I would give the hotel it 7/10
