Room needs an upgrade

Liked: Close to everything.
Disliked: Badly needs renovations. Carpet in room is worn down and smelly. This carpet looks like the installed original. Doors were painted over dents. Missing a privacy sheer on the window.

We enjoyed our stay and...

Liked: The room was lovely, beds were awesome. Coupons for breakfast were an added bonus. Food was great and we enjoyed sitting in the restaurant and being served. Granddaughter loved the pool. Location was great for the purpose of our stay.
Disliked: The general layout of the hotel was very awkward. It took us a while to figure out how to come and go with confidence. It was a great experience other than that.

The hotel met expectations as...

Liked: The rooms are well designed and pleasant to walk into. The bathroom was the hero, beautiful and clean shower, lots of towels.
Disliked: The hotel is starting to show signs of wear. The hallway carpets look worn and soiled. Paint is coming off some of the furniture. The wi-fi was one of the worst connections I have ever had in a hotel and that is a real problem when you are travelling and trying to do a little business.
