Disappointed

Liked: The bedrooms have been refurbished and are very nice
Disliked: The fact that they did not inform of the refurbWhich meant the usual bar and restaurantFacilities were poor

Holiday Inn Southampton

Liked: Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good decor. Free tea/coffee, etc, available in the reception area. Pleasant/helpful staff.
Disliked: Food not great. Dinner was acceptable but disappointing.Not much atmosphere dining room.

Cold rooms with loud construction...

Liked: It was easy to get to the cruise terminal from which we were taking a voyage.
Disliked: There was loud construction going on. We were not notified in advance. It was physically cold in the rooms.

Not very good.

Liked: Bed room was good and clean but noisy owning to running of A/C units all night.
Disliked: We were not told the Hotel is being refurbished and the site being a building site.Limited services, breakfast food not hot, no beer.
