Holiday Inn Resort The Lodge at Big Bear Lake, Big Bear Lake

My first time there and I would recommend it to everyone. The people that work there are so nice and always ready to help you. I will never forget - I ran into Ted Nugent at the elevator. So awesome - he's a nice man as well! I can't wait to come back!

Disliked: Not clean. The bathroom door was dirty. Mold on bathroom walls. It was very hot in the room and the AC was not working so we weren’t able to sleep. The pool and jacuzzi were not working. We reserved the room with breakfast, so we paid extra. But they told us at the reception that we only get a discount voucher for the breakfast and we ended up having breakfast outside the hotel.

Liked: The hotel staff was friendly, and the location was great and distance to the town and to the mountain. It was also a safe location and safe at the hotel.
Disliked: The floor was wet in my room, which soaked my socks. I don’t know what it was wet from. I spent a lot of money on an overpriced three star hotel paid for the breakfast and was only able to receive $12 vouchers and only able to buy pancakes with them. I told my kids I was getting them breakfast prepaid and they had pancakes. Only the restaurant staff was very rude And it took them over an hour to get our pancakes. The kids last time snowboarding because of this. The beds were drastically, uncomfortable almost like you were sleeping on a board when you pay to sleep somewhere you should be comfortable, but this was not comfortable at all.
