My first time there and I would recommend it to everyone. The people that work there are so nice and always ready to help you. I will never forget - I ran into Ted Nugent at the elevator. So awesome - he's a nice man as well! I can't wait to come back!

1970s/80s vibe with excellent location.

Liked: Quaint, EXCELLENT location, breakfast was great, shower was strong and hot, room was large enough and the bed was comfortable. All the shops were basically right next door. Apparently the breakfast buffet is only open Friday-Sunday, but they give you the option of the full breakfast menu during the other days (they give you a voucher).
Disliked: The fireplace was a joke... A gas stove puts out more light/heat. Some will like the hotel...others not. It is dated...from the carpet to the low ceilings in the halls, it gave me a 'Shining' vibe with it's LONG, low-ceilinged corridors. It would of been nice if the front desk gave me directions to the room... seriously. It's that convoluted. I had to go back and ask. The restaurant where the breakfast was was 59 degrees Fahrenheit (15 C)...freezing. (we sat under the thermostat). Have to ask for the breakfast voucher every day.
