Enjoyed our stay; breakfast and...

Liked: Well -appointed , nicely decorated, light and airy in the bar and restaurant.
Disliked: No bright central lighting in the bedroom - I do not like dim lighting in the room.

Disappointing

Liked: Staff members were lovely and very professional (day team)
Disliked: Our experience was sadly ruined by the state of the bed (stain) extremely uncomfortable mattress, a mattress topper which was just a rolled up duvet, and lack of help from the night shift worker who couldn't have been less engaging or less helpful when raised at midnight. I have raised a complaint about this which awaits reply.

Liked: The room and guest areas were very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Pet friendly and had games/colouring books, pens/pencils. Made to feel welcome and relaxed.
Disliked: It's a shame there wasn't a main light in the room (where the bed was) as it only had the 2 side lamps

A good find.

Liked: The rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was really nice with a good range of foods.
Disliked: The shower wasn't great, but worked well enough.
