Quality 1-night stay

Liked: I was travelling to the area for a wedding in Wasing Park. For this purpose, the hotel's location was very convenient. It's a 5-minute drive from Aldermaston train station and about 10-minute drive from Wasing Park.The facilities were nice and cosy, the rooms spacious and clean. The bed was very comfy for me and there were no disturbing noises in general even though the hotel is located right on the highway.Breakfast was nice with a good variety of options. I did not use the restaurant.The staff were very friendly, polite and attentive.There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the hotel.

If you want a twin...

Liked: The hotel was clean and comfortable but I asked for a twin room and was given a room with two single beds but fixed together. It wouldn’t have taken much effort to separate them. Also the quilt was inadequate for the size of bed only just covering the mattress with no overhang so every time one moved the covering was pulled off the other person. The quilt was inside an adequately sized cover that had overhang around the side and bottom. Maybe we were unlucky and usually this is attended too but it made for a less than comfortable couple of night’s albeit in a bed that was comfortable.
