My friends and I stayed after a concert at Piere's and would definitely stay again. It's nothing super fancy, but the room was very clean and the staff was friendly. We all LOVED the pillows!

Disliked: Slow elevators.

Disliked: The room was mediocre in being clean, pool area was super moldy, there was no way to connect to Netflix as the TVs were not updated smart TVs, and no breakfast unless you paid to eat in their restaurant.

Liked: Friendly front desk staff; comfortable beds.
Disliked: Small and not so small things added up to a substandard hospitality experience. Small things: no water & beverage vending on the floor next to the ice machine; and 2 out of 2 mornings there was either none or not enough milk or Half & Half next to the complementary coffee. Not so small things: smelly trash was left in the corridor 2 out of 2 days we were there and the receptionist had to go and retrieve it herself (no housekeeping staff on duty?). Furthermore, there was a loud fan noise coming through the walls (although we made sure the fan in the bathroom was off); and carpets in corridor were bubbled up - a potential trip hazard. The hotel could use renovation.

The location is safe and...

Liked: The location was great. We were there for a concert a the Coliseum and the hotel was directly across the street.
Disliked: The restaurant located inside the hotel and advertised online was not open our whole stay. Our key cards didn’t work multiple times. We took them to the front desk at least three times and they continued to not work our whole stay. The staff was not friendly or apologetic. We payed over $200 a night for a room at the holiday inn and I felt this was not a good value compared to many other locations we have stayed at.
