Misinformed and frustrated

Liked: Very clean and comfortable rooms. The location was okay for us since we had to go outside of Portland and didn’t want to stay in the city, but. It much for walking distance. Spacious parking for our trailer was wonderful. Very friendly staff at front desk.
Disliked: Things that went south:Booking. com had this property filtered with “breakfast included” but there was none.Before booking, we chatted with a live agent at Holiday Inn and to ask if this hotel was pool only or pool and hot tub - they confirmed both pool and hot tub. We showed up and no hot tub. As a family of 5, included breakfast and hot tub makes a huge impact on where we stay. Feeling misinformed and frustrated about that.We did not put the eco-door hanger on in the morning so we could get fresh towels from housekeeping…housekeeping never came and we had to get fresh towels and coffee bar restock items from the front desk ourselves.Feeling let down by the travel site, the company & the establishment.Will not book again and will be leery of Holiday Inn hotels.

Short but wonderful stay.

Liked: It was a short 1 night stay but the room and bed were very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had all the amenities. Breakfast was great and had a variety of meal options including fruits.They offer free parking on site which was very handy, receptionist and staff in general are warm, friendly and very helpful.

Disliked: Why do hotels wash linens in an overload of fragrance laden soap? Many hotels nowadays use fragrance free liquid soap. Many people have allergic reactions to fragrances. The hotel itself was very clean but please please remove the fragrances in the linens!!! Sure appreciate it!
