Pleasant stay

Liked: Breakfast was lovely. Check in was friendly and helpful. Room was clean but had a lingering smell of some sort that wasn’t too pleasant. Bed was comfortable. Room 221 is by a main road so the sound of cars annoyed my partner.

Great stay

Liked: Great hotel modern and clean. Room was lovely and got a complimentary mini bar on a free upgrade! Used the leisure club as well which was good I’d certainly take swim wear next time the pool looked great. Breakfast was lovely lots of choice. Staff all very friendly and helpful

Liked: Great location as it's near the motorway. There's a £15 parking charge for 24hr stays so keep that in mind. Would have been excellent if parking is free for guests

Comfortable clean and at the...

Liked: The room was clean light and airy. The pillow was a bit hard for me but I did have the option to change so it was my fault. Other wise it was a good nights sleep and we have booked to stay again

BEEN BETTER BUT GOING DOWN...

Liked: breakfast was good
Disliked: we attended a function same as last year but we had to share the bar with the other guests unlike last year it was totally under staffed (only 1 person behind the bar) meaning i and the other 100 people attending the function spent 20 minutes queing to get served which ruined the night as far as i was concerned. Our room carpet was well stained and could do with a good deep clean, and just to add insult to injury we found in the morning housekeeping had only left 2 small sachets of milk so couldnt even have a desent cup of tea first thing
