I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn. Lovely hotel in a very nice location. I will be staying there again.

Liked: Good location, generally clean, good food, most staff very professional and amenable.
Disliked: Having to pay £15/night to park in the hotels own car park, this should be incorporated in to the overall price or drawn attention to during the booking procedure. Two of the male waiters were not as professional as others.

Liked: Nice hotel with friendly staff. Check in was seamless. Room nice and spacious. Really good leisure centre with pool and enjoyed the steam room. Buffet breakfast the next day was very good with lots of options
Disliked: Shower was stiff on controls and had to get maintenance to look it. Maintenance looked at it right away though which was appreciated

Liked: The bed was very comfortable. I’m walking into the property. It was very clean and professional. Can’t fault that.
Disliked: One room we stayed in 310 the toilet was dripping and would not flush properly, the silicone around the shower and tiles and bath and shower glass were all black with mould so that is a maintenance problem, the shower had did not have any adjustment so when having a shower it overshot the shower screen and ended up on the floor which we had to use clean towels to mop the floor up we asked to be moved. They moved us to 229 executive room that was very clean same problem with shower and a couple of spots on the silicon which had black mould in them so it was quite disgusting When you went to the toilet through the night. There was a bad smell coming from the toilet like the sewage problem asked for extra milk. They give us a couple of, but did not last more than 2 cups of coffee for the power of us. I paid £125 £90 for the room £15 for the breakfast and the rest for parking which is on their land which I thought was very unreasonable. We had to pay extra parking. The breakfast in the morning was well presented. Staff were very helpful in all occasions and could only apologise for what was wrong with the rooms. I think you need to upgrade the rooms in this property because they are falling into pieces. The bath tap has got that much rust underneath it which if a kid was in there and cut themselves with the tap that could be serious problems with rust in their blood overall not happy good location But hotel needs renovating in rooms
