Holiday Inn Ocean City, Ocean City

My adult daughter and I stayed for the New Years' Eve Weekend. Great rate, excellent rate for additional nights' stay after we had checked in. Loved the room with the fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, living room area and the beds were wonderful. Everything was CLEAN, and I never leave home without my Lysol, Clorox Wipes and Febreze to tidy a hotel room! Wonderful to have a fruit basket in the lobby along with Egg Nog and 20% coupon off our entree at the restaurant. The hotel was quiet and right down the street for our ringing in the New Year at Seacrets! We will be staying again to bring in 2013!

Liked: The stay was amazing. We even got upgraded to a ocean view hotel high floor, felt like serenity. Clean pool and hot tubs, we had everything for cooking, a fire place felt like living at home. Staff was very helpful, beyond friendly. Highly recommend. Everything we needed and more. I would definitely come back again.
Disliked: We stayed during there remodel of there rooms. 1st night the demo team came in next door around 11pm. Made dinner. And started ripping everything apart in the unit either next to us or right above us until early morning . 2nd night I dropped my water, it rolld under the bed. Went to grab it and found a rotten bottle of baby milk as well. Black mold nipple, rotten milk inside the baby bottle.the experience was great just bad timing I guess.

Disliked: having. kitchenette things were missing i always bring my own for occasions such as this bathroom needs upgrade wallpaper peeling off tiles messed up bathtub was scary, living room ceiling had water leak stains and. rug definitely needs upgrade

Disliked: On the elevator we push for the lobby and it shot us to the 8th floor that was being renovated we let the manager know, the manager said an out of order sign would be put up and it was not. I was having chest pain from the incident.! Not all but some of the staff was rude we called for room service was told they don’t do room service but they could bring us a menu (make it make sense) The tub filled up with water while trying to take a shower . Balcony door was extremely hard to open!! I am very disappointed and will NEVER visit there again!!!! I want my money back!!!!!!!
