Disliked: Hot food had become cold by the time it was served, especially the room service. Very disappointing.

I visited this Hotel on 5th August. The staff were very friendly and very helpful when questions were asked which I was unsure about. The only bad point I have is that I went to the hotel with 2 other people and when we ordered food in a quiet time, 2 of us had our food and then had to wait an hour for our other meal to arrive but waiter and staff were very apologetic. I would definitely stay here again.

Liked: Free use of the Swimming Pool and Gym Facilities.

Good access to the conference centre; breakfast was OK but facilities could have been better. Would stay again but now aware of the drawbacks.

Disliked: TV in room didn't work - highlighted to front of house and wasn't sorted when I got back from the conference.

Disliked: The bathroom and bedroom facilities. The toilet tank kept running each time you flushed it and the bath wasn't draining out the water properly at all. The plumber had to come by the room twice.

Good location, helpful and friendly...

Liked: Had issue with the shower and was given another room straight away. Staff were superb in sorting out the issue. Excellent breakfast. Good location. Parking free (nice, as some places charge residents extra for this!).
Disliked: No lift (not an issue for me but may affect others). Coffee/tea facilties in room need to be relocated. Tray on bottom shelf of luggage stand, so had to be moved to access it and plug in kettle. For the room rate, I expected better, and complimentary biscuits at least. Hotel far too warm everywhere- could easily turn down their thermostat a couple of degrees in public areas without causing discomfort. Hotel undergoing a much needed refurbishment but work was currently being done on a different wing so didn't impact on my stay, fortunately. Was expecting higher standard of facilities for cost of stay (no criticism of staff though - they were excellent).
