A great hotel for the Newcastle City Hall close by and easy to find - only takes 14 minutes to walk at a steady pace.

Liked: The room was brilliant and hotel staff really helpful.
Disliked: The mini bar was a bit expensive.

Liked: Location, staff, bar, reception LOVE how I give medium ratings for almost everything and yet strangely my rating comes up as a 5!!! This hotel is not a 5, I'd give it a 2.5.
Disliked: Very tired rooms, room had an unpleasant smell (had to have the window open the entire time we were there) net curtains ripped, awful view of block of flats that are in a very sad state of repair, shower falling apart, light shade next to bed cracked, quilt cover torn, fan in bathroom very dirty, toilet roll absolutely horrible, 1 ply!!!! (went out and bought decent stuff), could go on but that's enough to work on!
