Gulf Girl's Road Trip

Liked: This stay was impromptu. We needed a room for the night. The staff was courteous, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the surrounding area.
Disliked: The room we stayed in smelled funny, and it was... moist. That's the only word I can use to express the fact that the carpet was literally damp when you stepped on it. I had on socks initially while walking around the room. My socks were damp and black when I went to take them off. Overall, it was a safe place to lay our heads, and that's what we needed.If I'm honest, if given the option, I would not have chosen this particular place to stay if I had more time to research. But it was late and I was exhausted. So we showered and slept here and left bright and early.

Liked: The staff charged my room to a slightly better one, when realizing the AC issue in my first room
Disliked: The hotel seems to have general AC issues. The first room was literally wet on tile floor and carpet. All fabrics felt soggy and wet.
