Hotel and staff amazing

Liked: The staff, the bed, the quiet, the cleanliness,
Disliked: The only thing was no electrical sockets at the bedside to enable use of a CPAP machine, and the diversion in place which was stressful in the dark.

Never again

Disliked: The keycard machine wasn’t working so I had to continually find staff to let me back in my room. The shower above me was leaking through a light fitting into my shower. The floor wasn’t hoovered well as there were bits all over and overall cleaning was quite poor

Good night but improvement needed

Liked: The new years eve gala was great. Crystal managed the hotel team superbly. Food was fantastic but bedroom needed improvement
Disliked: Toilet seat in our room was broken. Bathroom door didn't shut. Bed pushed right up to wall so no access to it from that side. Pushed it over but then possibility of banging head on lamp on the other side of bed when getting up. Wardrobe door hanging not fitted properly

Liked: Room & hot breakfast
Disliked: Till the road work is going & junction 14 is closed. Need to give more detailed instructions on how to access the premise, especially if they are travelling in night. Worth mentioning using tickford roundaboud at reference & sign boarded needed at roundabout for Holiday Inn Express. Gates are closed at night & we had to call security guard to check if we are on right path.

Disappointing

Liked: We have stayed previously. We enjoyed that trip immensely. The travel instructions/directions were as per our previous stay but were not accessible! We drove around in the dark and fog for alternative route. No response to our phone calls!!!
Disliked: It is Perfectly adequate. Disturbance in next door room at 3am. Continued for some time! Guests in that room trying to get in through the window from outside with a hammer and chisel! No night porter/security around!
