Holiday Inn Louisville Airport - Fair/Expo an IHG Hotel, Louisville

It was a nice hotel, moderately priced and only 10 minutes from Expo5 venue. I did call for an early check in time using the number listed on the website, 877 -xxx-xxxx - spoke to someone I thought was at the hotel and requested an early check in. I was told someone would call me when our room was ready the following day. We arrived the follwong day and realized I had made the reservation for the wrong day. I get the error was mine, but when I spoke to the phone rep she confirmed that my reservation was for the day I said, not what the actual reservation was for. Luckily the staff at the hotel was helpful and got us a room with in 15-20 minutes.

Liked: Close to venue; clean; very nice staff.
Disliked: Poor vending selection.

Liked: Everything was clean and the staff were super nice! We enjoyed our visit and will recommend to others.

Fantastic staff, clean hotel, and...

Liked: The staff was kind and attentive. When we were stormed out of the LTL24 music festival, they provided karaoke for the guests - who really enjoyed it. One morning during breakfast, they saw my son looking for bacon and brought a plate out to him which was very sweet. The hotel was always very clean - especially since all ofthe festival guests were mudding returning to the hotel.
Disliked: Our primary dislike about the hotel was its shuttle that stopped before all of its guests returned safely. We waited until midnight after a call was made just after 11pm letting the hotel know that when the last shuttle left there were still 8 of us left to pick up - 3 were kids. Unfortunately we waited until 11pm and ended up walking back to the hotel. This happened 2 of the 3 nights we needed a shuttle.
