Did not stay overnight as...

Liked: The hotel itself looked well presented in the reception area. The staff were as helpful and apologetic as possible in the situation we were in.
Disliked: We chose not to stay despite that we would loose our money. We felt the parking facilities were unsafe and were not happy to leave the car overnight. The only parking available was in a darkened area at the back of the site which felt unsafe even going from the car to the hotel, especially with a young child. There were some people under the influence of alcohol and groups hanging around the area and we were informed by staff that the car park isn’t monitored and it would be left at our own risk. They tried to reassure us it would be ok as there haven’t been any previous problems but we did not feel comfortable leaving it unattended and had to trust our instincts instead of risking not being able to travel home the next morning.

Liked: Lovely hotel, spacious room. Very clean. Very close to Watford Junction station which was handy for us. Would definitely stay here again.
