Good hotel; good location; great staff and friendly welcome, but everything good was completely overshadowed by only being able to get wifi in your room if you pay £Â12. The room cost enough as it is, and paying for something that you get for free pretty much everywhere else in Camden is frankly greedy.
Liked: Friendly, helpful staff; comfortable beds.
Disliked: Charging a fortune for wifi. Really? These days?

Pathetic experience
Liked: Very poor experience, apart from the location, this hotel hasn’t got much going for it, I have been an IHG Member for more than 18 years. This was by far the worst IHG experience I have ever had the staff are very unhelpful, almost all of them have a “computer says no” attitude and are unhelpful. It actually made me wonder if IHG had off loaded the hotel to a third party on a contract, that’s how bad it was. Some of the things that went wrong, 1) I ordered a delivery from uber eats, staff at the desk said to me by phoning my room, “you just come down now to collect it as we cannot keep at reception” - this is when I didn’t even ask them to keep at the reception, hostile comments 2) I ordered room service - I hadn’t left my card details on the tab at reception, but you would imagine that if you are staying in the penthouse suit that paying at checkout shouldn’t be a problem in a so called 5* hotel, well, the restaurant refused the order of room service because they didn’t have the details and didn’t have a payment machine to send to the room! Instead they wanted me to go down stairs to pay for the room service first, I might as well order uber eats and collect that from reception, at least I would have more choice! Anyways. I won’t be staying here again, Stay at your own risk!!

Liked: Staff were very helpful and attentive, and this is a great location overseeing the lock and right next door to a very cultural Camden Market .
Disliked: The room was very basic , and not very exciting and inviting, and I and this wasn't that cheap I feel , there also is work on the outside of the building. Breakfast was nice, but the bacon was hard to eat, and the hash browns were luke warm .This was disappointing as I do like my breakfasts ,shame I did expect better . I don't feel it rates the 4 star rating as I have been in better rooms with fewer stars . Pictures are of their standard room.

Liked: Hotel is showing its age in parts but room was very clean, beds were comfortable and staff very pleasant and helpful. Corridors were a little noisy at night. Location is a stone's throw away from Camden Market which was very convenient for our group.
