A good stay rather spoilt...

Liked: The hotel was conveniently situated and the room was clean and comfortable. Both the evening meal and breakfast were enjoyable with a good range of food available. All the staff were very kind and helpful
Disliked: Although I had not realised this, I was in a room for those with disabilities. The shower was hot and easy to operate but the water draining arrangement was such that it became a 'wet room', with water all over.A more important complaint, though, was that there had been some nine inches of snow on top of ice overnight and, beyond two snow shovels, there was nothing provided by the hotel by way of salt, or grit, and it took me, with the help of other guests, some three-quarters of an hour to gain access to the main road up a slight hill in the hotel grounds. As a 75-year old woman, I expected better facilities offered by the hotel to clear the snow and ice off the road in the hotel grounds and someone, other than the guests, to do this.

A pleasant stay.

Liked: The staff were very helpful. The location was great as it was only a few minutes drive from the church, station and restaurant we went to. The room was comfortable but not spacious as we had the sofa bed pulled out but was fine for 1 night. It had a pool, sauna and steam room.
Disliked: There were a series of short steps going down then a long corridor before we went up a flight of stairs and down another long corridor before we arrived at our room. It was a bit tricky with the luggage we had.
