Liked: It was in a fantastic location, had amazing access to where I needed to go on my trip. And beautiful view of the water.
Disliked: The room service/maids woke up me and my family at 8 am by knocking multiple times asking for room service and cleaning when checkout time wasn't until 11 am. Was very irritated as it was early and we had a later night.

Liked: The location of the property is great. Mainly why I gave it a higher rating.
Disliked: To begin, when I first arrived at the location, the staff at front desk was talking on the side with someone and completely ignored me. Only when my partner (male) came in after parking the vehicle, did the staff then greet us and checked us in. I was clearly standing at the desk waiting for the staff to assist me as I was the one who made the booking/reservation and used my ID and my credit card, yet was ignored until my male partner came in. Parking is also ridiculous at $30+/nightWe also found a screw on the floor of the pool deck of the inside pool which our 7 year old found. Thankfully she didn’t step on it and reported it to us.When we finished up at the pool (it was about 7pm) and rooms were still being cleaned up with the hallways being filled with garbage from the guest rooms, to the staff’s carts everywhere. Finally the sofa bed was the worse thing in that room. Completely dented in when you lay in it, you cave in the middle and feel every single spring of that mattress. There was no way our child would be able to sleep in there so we had to cramp all three of us in the bed. Worse sleep ever.Personally wouldn’t go back to this hotel. There are plenty around so will be booking elsewhere next time we are in Kingston.

Liked: Location by the water, morning coffee in the lobby, snack options, fairly priced.
Disliked: Bed was rock hard, quite noisy after 9pm, Keurig in the room was unusable (water reservoir had brown build up that looked as if it had been scraped to try and clean it.)

Liked: Nice location, room was modern and relatively clean. Only negative was the chocolate covered almonds left around the room from the previous guest and being that we had our dog this was not ideal

Uncontrolled hallway noise - don’t...

Liked: Location on the water and right by the main shopping street.
Disliked: Terrible place to sleep. Thin walls and 13 hockey teams meant no sleeping at all. The staff promised it would t be an issue but were not able or willing to do anything about it. So noisy the family couldn’t sleep for both nights there as kids and drunk adults partied late between rooms and then early morning noise as people left — but absolutely no sound insulation like in newer better maintained hotels. Out of date facilities meant that no insulation from noise. Incompetent staff. Will never stay again and recommendation everyone avoids it if they care about sleep.
