Good

Liked: Ideal location for us as we just visiting York for the weekend. Plenty of free parking at the front of the hotel. The staff were lovely and very friendly. Lovely spacious room to stay in and a lovely comfy bed too! Superb breakfast left us feeling ready for the day. Only issue for me was the restaurant wasn't advertised as being a Toby Carvery. I have an eating disorder and was unable to eat there meaning we had to pay a little extra and have food delivered to the hotel

Disappointing

Liked: Bed too small. Although room was a good size there was lack of comfortable chairs. Lack of plug socket or usb on one side of bed. Not enough toilet paper.

Our York Trip

Liked: Staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast had a good selection, not too far from amenities and room was spacious and well equipped.We enjoyed our stay and there wasn't anything to dislike

Pleasant

Liked: Location, Friendly staff and the breakfast.
Disliked: The bed was to small and to soft definitely smaller than others we have had at other Holiday Inns. The shower had a curtain which i think is a bit out of date and a door would be better. Our cleaning was missed even though we put the hanger on the door when we left for the day.
