Great pit stop on road...

Liked: Ideal for a one night stop on our road trip. Large shopping centre 5 minutes away was useful. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Fantastic base for a family...

Liked: At gone midnight we had a warm welcome at reception. The room was more spacious than we expected, and a nice temperature. There were notices saying we could have anything we were missing. The blackout curtains worked so well we nearly overslept. Cleaning staff in the corridor were really friendly. Breakfast was brilliant. There was a pancake machine! We liked the small plates - you could have as much as you liked, but there wasn't a huge plate to overfill.
Disliked: Lighting was a bit dim, and the beds were not the softest.

Liked: Really good value and only 10 min drive from York city centre. Staff were amazing and went out of there way for any request we had. Would highly recommend.
Disliked: The sofa beds are extremely uncomfortable so I would recommend booking a second room instead or using alternate accommodation to avoid having a sofa bed

Liked: The hotel was clean and welcoming. The staff are all polite, friendly and courteous and helpful.Chris is a Star, Breakfast was great and all freshly cooked.Room was a accessible room with a walk in shower just brilliant, perfect the shower kept the same temperature and the flow was brilliant.
Disliked: Going home.
