Holiday Inn Express Tyler South, Tyler

The hotel was clean and very friendly the front desk, housekeeping was a 10 all round. We come to Tyler once a year on business - I will make it a point to book my hotel with Holiday Inn. I had the best weekend and will be back. Great place to spend the weekend - very clean, nice people, close to everything.

Liked: The front desk was welcoming and so nice. I loved how they had warm cookies in the afternoons in the lobby. That was a great treat coming back from running errands.
Disliked: The bed was the only thing I would say was bad. The bed was very high and you had to almost run and jump to get in it.

Liked: My family and I have stayed at this location multiple times over the past 30 days due to a family member being in the hospital. Everything about this property exceeds our expectations. The staff is phenomenal from the front desk all the way to the housekeepers, even the staff that serves breakfast in the morning are friendly. We really enjoy the lovely rooms, great breakfast and we always set time aside for the pool. The hospital (UT HEALTH) was less than 4 minutes away plus this hotel is in the perfect location for family parks and dining!
Disliked: Nothing negative to say here! Considering the location the place is actually excellent. It only took about 3 min for me to reach the hospital. The property is great!

Liked: It was clean it was quiet it was in a great area the staff was amazing chicken was so easy and quick
Disliked: There wasn't a big selection if kids were involved for breakfast. I love biscuits and sausage gravy, but if it had a waffle section did not know where it was. And I know a lot of Holiday inns have a walk selection and travel all over the United States for work. our military was having a meeting and that's understandable near the breakfast area and we did not want to disturb

Liked: The cleanliness and the breakfast lady was on it. When a item was all out she was right there with a replacement and no longer than 5 minutes
Disliked: small parking lot

My stay was great!

Liked: Everything was great. Upon arrival, I was greeted by name and the manager had a goodie bag waiting for me.

Bad

Liked: Nothing didn't stay there due to schedule conflict
Disliked: Could nor get reimburses due to same day cancelation policy even though I made the reservation that same day
