Ok stopover, good price inc...

Liked: Handy for m4 motorway stop over, 2 mins from junction + adjacent to Ferrari / porsche / vw garage. Breakfast was very good choice for price.
Disliked: Rooms a bit dated, we got given a disability room - not the best.

Room was almost near to...

Liked: There is a bolt on the inside of the door for added security. The breakfast was great - had a lot to offer. I especially liked the amount of toasters so there was never a queue to get toast. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with the room - had everything I needed, was very clean, quiet for the most part, the heating was easy to control and the ensuite was more than adequate. The shower and temperature easy to control and use.
Disliked: I did try the hand soap but it irritated my hands so ended up using my shower gel to wash my hands. Therefore didn't bother with the supplied shower soap and shampoo either as I had my own toiletries.One of the lamps didn't work, didn't bother me however I ended up fixing it accidentally by moving the direction it was pointing in - the bulb seemed loose. Also bulb in the shower room was temperamental - maybe it was loose too, it was on the ceiling though.The tv worked when I checked it on arrival but then the one time I wanted to use it to watch Sky News with a cup of tea it didn't and since it was around 2-3 am I figured it was impossible to get help for just that and I was too tired. Later on after breakfast I checked the connections and found one was loose so tv worked again. My only proper gripe about the room is they only had a USB port near the bed, luckily I had an adapter that changes USB to USB-C otherwise it would have been completely redundant. It still didn't work as well as with a normal UK 3 pin plug socket though - my devices kept telling me to use a proper charging source. The 3 pin plug sockets were at the table and at the foot of the bed on the other wall. I had a proper (came with my phone) 3 pin plug to USB-C that I ended up charging my phone and laptop on the table with before I could use on the bed - so streaming services became a little dependant on the battery.The only thing that might give me pause about staying here again though, is there was a young military man that stank of a certain substance that I was unfortunate to be around when he passed behind me in the buffet area - the smell alone gives me migraines so I'd like to avoid it whenever possible. If it wasn't for that - my stay would've been almost perfect.

Liked: Poor location for leisure. Too far to walk anywhere. Staff were pleasant enough. Toilet difficult to flush in room. Lighting not very good in room. Device charging points poor. Only one seat in twin room

Liked: Such a lovely welcome on arrival late evening.The room was clean, comfortable and spacious.Breakfast was good. An ideal overnight stop.on a long journey.
