Fabulous experience! Healthy breakfast a...

Liked: Spotless, lovely lobby, easy access. I was most excited about the HEALTHY options for breakfast-turkey sausage & egg white omelettes! I'm a health nut so this was amazing! Thank you.
Disliked: I would love actual blankets instead of the thin ones provided. Bed was very comfortable though.

Disliked: The night staff was very rude. When we arrived around 9pm, she gave us our room key! When we went up to our room the carpet was visibly filthy & stained! It made it feel like the whole room was dirty. We usually always stay at this chain of hotels! It was our 25th wedding anniversary! So when I went down to let her know she gave us another room with same results! I asked her if we could have a courtesy upgrade & let her know it was are 25th anniversary. She said because of booking through a 3rd party she didn't have an option! So we decided to stay in the room & talk to the manager in the morning! She also stated We could always LEAVE... needless to say if it wasn't so late by know it's around 10pm. I thought that was so rude! In the morning we talked to the manager & he moved us to a swee. He was very nice! I wish I could have left honestly, The hotel is located on Medical Dr. I thought that meant near a hospital, also the have a detox facility & a lot of strange people walking around neighborhood! I will never go to that particular Hotel again!

Disliked: I paid before I arrived and was charged again when I checked in the person who checked me in was trying to find out why so she went to get help to see why and the lady that came had a very nasty attitude like I did something wrong to her I just wanted my money back and I haven't yet received the money.... if I paid before I arrived, why are you charging me for the room?

Disliked: Booking.com did not pay Holiday Inn Express. I had to pay for the stay and have not received credit for the amount paid to Booking.com.
