Liked: Only the help from the front desk clerk was acceptable. She tried to help us, but we tried 4 different rooms tying trying to get a clean room. We were traveling for hurricane relief support for Western NC. 4 rooms and every single one was filthy. I have never stayed in an IHG hotel that was this dirty. After the 4th room I was just so exhausted after driving in from Alabama that we finally just said forget it Around 10pm, and just settled on the 4th room. Then we were woken up at 5:30am when the fire alarm went off and everyone had to go outside. Horrible horrible experience

Old and broken
Disliked: Pool closed. Pancake machine broken. Breakfast mostly empty. Very run down, old hotel.

Disliked: The hotel over booked and my room was given away. I even called to inform them I was going to be arriving late as we had a 9 hour drive.

Be prepared for the smell!
Liked: King sized bed, Keurig coffee maker
Disliked: I'm usually not a complainer but these rooms were not up to Holiday Inn Express quality! The rooms smelled musty. Was assigned 2 different rooms because of smell and they were both musty smelling. The first was the worst of the two but the second was bad. Stayed only because we had traveled all day and were too tired to go any further. Mattress had a stain on the edge which was a bit worrisome. Carpet was worn and frayed at the edge. Wouldn't stay here again no matter how tired we were!
