If the breakfast was better...

Liked: The night clerk at the front desk was great!Our room was spotless! The hotel itself smelled amazing!
Disliked: We chose this location in part because of the full breakfast that was offered. But the breakfast was horrible. According to the pictures on your website the breakfast offered including scrambled eggs and breakfast meat (sausage bacon etc ). The scrambled eggs had what appear to be some kind of pepper, onion, and potatoes mixed in with it. It looked terrible not to mention inedible. The sausage offered was gray. Was it because it was steamed? Or microwaved? I'm not sure but it also did not look very appetizing. My husband did eat some other items such as the biscuits and sausage gravy. But he said it tasted as if it was frozen, thawed, and reheated. Our room itself was clean but the hallways and the lobby were not. The floors had dirt in the elevators and there was dirt tracked in the hallway carpet. Also the type of smoke detectors that are in the bedrooms, have a strobe light effect. There's a flashing green light inside the smoke detector that goes off all the time and it flashes in the bedroom while you're trying to sleep. That's annoying.
