Pleasantly surprised.

Liked: Lovely brewery nearby as well as a few other food options all within walking distance. Staff were all lovely and you can tell they put a lot of work into keeping the place nice. Room had a data jack so you aren't forced to use their sub-par wireless service.
Disliked: Internet service needs work. I can tell by the signal levels per band that some thought was put into things but the APs are either hilariously oversubscribed or have something else going on with them because if you're trying to do anything more intense than checking emails you're in for a very intermittent experience.

Disliked: Booking.com made an error with the booking, meaning this wasn't showing on the hotel's systems. This was eventually sorted, but staff member seemed as though he couldn't care less that we would potentially be without a hotel for the evening. I understand this was Booking.com's error, but more empathy or suggestions from staff would've been helpful

Liked: I have stayed here before as I was selling at the convention center. The location is great and the employees provide great information. I will be back
Disliked: My room was close to the elevator so there was some noise but not bad.

Super Stay!

Liked: Great breakfast! Pancake maker, yogurt, eggs, potatoes, etc. New facility it seems. Really nice rooms. The complementary electric charger was a nice plus.
Disliked: A little far from downtown Palm Desert but only an 8 minute car ride.
