Thoroughly Pleased

Liked: Hotel was about 5 miles from the port. We were able to book a shuttle to the port and book a return shuttle before we left for the cruise. Miami Best shuttle and Holiday Inn were superb. We will be using both again this year.

Liked: Very close to the airport and there is an available shuttle which was great. The front desk was open until very late and the service was good. The room was very big and had all the expected amenities.
Disliked: The breakfast would be my main area for improvement as there were no vegetables and the plates were all styrofoam and that was a bit surprising for me as someone who does not live in the US. Shuttle pick up was a bit chaotic at the airport and could be more organised. When I requested a taxi to go do some shopping, I was recommended a private taxi which was $70 USD as opposed to $20USD I would have paid with Uber. The clerk was overwhelmed as he was the only one working and there were many clients checking in during this busy time, I think an extra staff at the front desk would have helped, especially during this busy Christmas period. Overall, the price was quite expensive for the quality.
