Disliked: Our rooms were switched. We needed a handicap room and that's what I booked and we were switched to a regular room. My daughters in a wheelchair. Regular room is not acceptable

Excellent Location!

Liked: Everyone on staff we met was attentive & friendly. They were fast & efficient without being overbearing. The hotel was clean and the room & bed was comfortable. Breakfast was exactly what we've come to expect from Holiday Inn Express. The best location to access all the shops & restaurants at St. John Town Center but still in a quiet area, also within 15 minutes of the Mayo Clinic & close to major highways.
Disliked: Unfortunately, they've "upgraded" to automated coffee machines with touch screens that brew your cup individually. At first glance it sounds good but one of the 2 machines was down & it takes a long time for each cup. At breakfast a long line developed waiting for coffee. Then that one frozen up. They no longer have coffee makers in the rooms so this presented a problem. While waiting for the company to come service the first machine they should have had an alternative to replace it. I know you can get large dispensers with fresh brewed coffee from places like Starbucks (not my choice but an example) that serve dozens of cups. For a relatively small investment they could have eliminated this problem.
