Liked: The location was perfect - close to where our granddaughters live. A variety of decent restaurants close by and lots of fast food options for after school sporting events. The breakfast was very good and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming, especially in the breakfast area. Access to the pool for the girls is a must and we spent time there almost daily.
Disliked: The building shows its age; bare spots on the carpet, the fridge in the room froze everything even after turning down the thermostat, the most convenient outside door didn't have a working key card reader. Don't know if it's by design, but there weren't towel bars in the bathroom; we were there for a week and don't get fresh towels daily, so it was a bit of a trick to hang them out.

Great place to stay and...

Liked: The lobby/breakfast area were very nice. The breakfast had many great warm options including protein which was a bonus. The room was nice and spacious. We had a king bed that was very comfortable. The room was quiet and dark. The couch was rather worn and should probably be replaced soon. The location was very convenient to the marine base and we appreciated that since we were there to visit our son. All of the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The value was good. We would stay here again
Disliked: If I had to be critical then only disappointments would have been the sausage at breakfast was not great quality. Very processed and the potatoes were stale like they may have been from the day before. But we ate them anyways

Liked: The cleanliness was great. Staff were very friendly.
Disliked: The hotel needs serious updates. The couches are worn and torn, door frames etc. are rusted and doors have missing parts on the access door pad. Breakfast was very blah as they only had turkey sausages, no egg whites pancakes and hash browns. Not a great variety.
