Liked: Nice and peaceful property…very clean with all needed essentials

Liked: Holiday Inn Express & Suites—Ann Arbor offers a comfortable stay near the 94 Freeway, a short drive to the University of Michigan and downtown Ann Arbor. The complimentary breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly. Free parking is available at the property, a valuable perk given the limited options in downtown Ann Arbor. It's a nice new hotel.

Liked: The location was in a decent spot.
Disliked: The breakfast was completely burnt. The floor we stayed on was loud. I tried to check in at 2:45pm because we got to town a little earlier, and they told me it would be another 45 minute to an hour. I advised that it was unacceptable as check-in was at 3pm. I understand waiting till 3 pm, but another 45 minutes was unacceptable. The front desk staff acted annoyed that I would not wait past 3 pm.
