Liked: The breakfast was good but not great. The room was big and the bed was comfortable.
Disliked: The bathroom wasn't 100% clean and the shower temperature fluctuated. There was a construction side next to the hotel which made the stay very loud. The door wouldn't shut automatically so I had to really pull the door to get it shut. And there was no wardrobe

Liked: Hotel is in good location with easy access to subway.Clean rooms.Complementary coffee was good but only decaf.
Disliked: One of the twin beds wasn't level.Only decaf.The staff at reception were not always that friendly, helpful. We were not told that when our room didn't need cleaning we'd receive a voucher for a drink (other's did get that info). Some of the staff didn't even bother telling us the amount we owed for our drinks, just presented the card machine.What was disappointing was the breakfast. If you don't eat a full English breakfast, options are rather poor, fruit either not ripe or too ripe, nothing to put on toast except for butter and no variety at all.

Exceptional

Liked: I want to give a big shout out to the lovely ladies on reception when I checked in on the 15th Oct. The lock on my suitcase got jammed and I had a good laugh with them as they helped me try to open it. Very helpful group! Also, the room was very quiet, even though I was next to the lift, so I was pleasantly surprised.

Terrible experience

Disliked: The building is being renovated, so even though the view through the window was scaffolding and it was impossible to be in the room during the day because of the construction sounds, the smell of construction materials in the corridor and in the room was unbearable!When I told the receptionist in the morning, she said that she was aware of it, so we could have asked for a change to another block. I can't understand how the hotel KNOWING that there is A PROBLEM (and big question whether the smell in the rooms was even unsafe) can accommodate the guests there without remorse. And we were with a small child.

Liked: The staff were lovely
Disliked: The building was covered in scaffold so not only was it very hard to locate it also impacted on the view. And was still charged a ridiculous amount of money.

Exceptional

Liked: good service, comfortable room and delicious breakfast.
Disliked: There was no sliced ​​ham and cheese for breakfast to make a sandwich.

We had an amazing stay...

Liked: The location of this place is ideal, close to bus stop/train station and walking is not to bad to some places. Staff was very friendly.
Disliked: The bed is WAY TOO SMALL.
