Liked: The staff were absolutely lovely, especially the manager. The room was clean and comfortable - we were only staying for one evening so it was pleasant and worth the money we paid. Location is great - a 5 minute walk from the tube station.
Disliked: We weren't told there was going to be building work going on - our view was just scaffolding and a workman walked past our window and looked in. Breakfast was absolutely rammed with people, the manager was telling people to go and get our breakfast and he'd find us a seat but it could be on the sofas in the foyer. The room was absolutely freezing through the night. The lift was absolutely tiny so could only fit about 2 people in it and took ages to come - I ended up having to carry our suitcases up and down because it just wasn't worth waiting for the lift. Also wasn't too sure about the 'Parsley Stem' shower gel..

Liked: Everything was clean. We had everything what we needed.
Disliked: The door key works difficult.

Disappointing

Liked: Staff very helpful and breakfast was of a high standard - rooms cleaned everyday as expected
Disliked: The only down side was that the building was covered in scaffolding and you could not see out windows. No building was going on during our stay which we were very happy about.

Liked: Location very central. Good sized rooms. Deep mattresses if a little hard for my liking.
Disliked: The breakfast set-up was my only disappointment. It’s chaos. The layout to get to different foods was poor and it was super crowded. But the staff were superb.

Liked: Good location, breakfast, cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff, possibility of making coffee in the room and nice big coffee cups.The A7 bus goes to Standsted Airport right next to the hotel under the overpass.A quiet hotel in good condition.

Great for a short break

Liked: Location, close to tube and walking distance to attractions. Lovely bathroom, great breakfast.
Disliked: Lights not working in room on arrival. Not fixed when we were out as promised. Had to request again for them to be fixed.No plug socket near a mirror to plug in electric hair appliances eg straighteners
