It was a good location...

Liked: Inside the hotel was lovely. Staff were very attentive. Room was great, very clean and modern. Fantastic location.
Disliked: The outside of the whole hotel is a building site with scaffolding all around it. We couldn't locate the hotel at first as we could not see it. As soon as we got in to our room we opened our curtains to be met with builders right outside the window, so we soon closed the curtains and kept them closed the entire stay. Our room was noisy with people coming and going. Breakfast was lovely...if you could get near it! It was set up in a very compact space and it was so busy! The shower head didn't stay up on the wall bracket - i reported this to reception.

Very pleasant stay, with recently...

Liked: Rooms appeared to be recently refurbished so everything was very clean and fresh. Bathroom was spacious. Beds were comfortable. All amenities covered in the room (plenty of towels, extra pillows, tea/coffee making, etc). Breakfast had a very good spread and choice.
Disliked: This couldn't be helped at the time but the renovations were still ongoing during our stay, which meant the exterior of the building looked a bit shabby and workmen were walking along scaffolding in the mornings. BUT we were notified of this and promised that no work was done after a certain time at night.

Very good comfortable & central...

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Room was comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, the breakfast was not so good. The cooked breakfast options were average, at best. The pastries, on the other hand, were excellent.
