Liked: Room was nice, and clean. Location was great. Staff was friendly (e.g. with luggage storage and permission of parking on the day of departure til 4 pm); Breakfast was moderate quality (better than what I have experienced in other inexpensive South Tahoe Hotels).
Disliked: Breakfast was moderate quality (better than what I have experienced in other inexpensive South Tahoe Hotels): fresh coffee, fresh bagels and scones, more fruit variety would have been nice. The plastic and paper utensils/plates/cups are trerible for the environment (disposible things should not be used as much in the Resort twon that claims to be environmentally friendly). Finally the worst thing at breakfast was that FOX NEWS was on - there are many guests who, I believe, do not like to listen to NEWS from that TV station. It would be better to play music at a low noise level that breakfast guests can enjoy rather that a politically not neutral NEWS channel. The FOX NEWS running TV at breakfast made us go the Starbucks across the street.

Disappointing
Liked: Close to the gondola.
Disliked: We’ve stayed here multiple times, but this visit was a letdown. There was no hot water after a cold day of skiing, and no maintenance team to fix it. When we asked for alternatives—switching rooms or just access to another for a shower—nothing was offered.To top it off, the alarm clock went off at midnight, waking up the whole family. Basic service and amenities were lacking. Very disappointing.

valuable environment to stay
Liked: Location is good, the front desk lady is pretty nice and friendly.
Disliked: No hot water for showers when we arrived. The staff changed our room to the other building.

Disliked: Purposely set the feature on the app to breakfast & hot tub/ spa. This hotel came up so we booked our stay here. Nothing stated that the spa would be closed because of “the season”. Our night was completely ruined because that was one of the sole purposes of booking here. We tried to go about getting a refund as we didn’t want to stay due to false advertisement and the front desk manager said the general manager won’t refund us because booking.com still charges them a commission fee. I’m sorry, when did internal business issues become a problem for the consumer? And yes we didn’t even consume! That’s the laughable part. Their issue is internal and needs to be handled with bookings. OHHHH and the cherry on top was booking.com is only reachable international, so make sure you have international calling before raising a dispute. Overall, terrible customer service on both parties. I will never use their services ever again and will be filing a fraud case for the false advertisement.
