On the whole very good...

Liked: Bright, spacious welcoming and warm.
Disliked: Room looking a little tired and mattress had dip in middle.Occasional plumbing noises.

What you’d expect for the...

Liked: Staff were lovely, breakfast was what youd expect for a holiday inn express. Location was great and easy to find. Free parking was also great. Bathroom was super clean.
Disliked: The bed was so uncomfortable, you feel every spring and with being pregnant it was a less than ideal sleep.

It could have been better...

Liked: We had been at the hotel before and had no issue with the noise of the traffic at night. This time l could hear the noise of the traffic which was disappointing during the stay on this occasion and made it difficult to get to sleep.
Disliked: The room we had which was 119 and we could hear the traffic of the motorway of a night.

Liked: Good size room, good sized bar and restaurant area. Plenty of parking space, quiet rooms.
Disliked: Slow lift, front lined staff have room for improving their hosting skills.

Perfect place for a stopover!

Liked: Perfect location for a stopover on a journey, as literally 2 minutes from motorway. Good parking. Excellent breakfast included in price. Clean room, lovely staff.
Disliked: Heating wasn’t on when we got there but once they put it on it was very cosy. (Snowy outside!) We’re used to superking sized bed and will make sure to book that next time. Smaller bed was the only thing I didn’t like!
