On going out to find a restaurant you quickly realise there aren't any and head back to hotel. However menu is cynical, not much choice and very expensive.

Liked: Staff were all very helpful, especially the waiter.
Disliked: Food poor and expensive.

Liked: The room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. All in all for the price it was very good.
Disliked: Staff on duty were a bit slow coming to serve us. Main meal was not the best.

Convenient base for Poole and...

Liked: Good base for Poole area, easy walk to the Quay. Use this hotel regularly.

Disliked: Room was not ready when we arrived at 7pm. I was told there was no staff available to make the bed. 2 hours went by before I had to go down and ask as they had forgot. We had 2 children with us who were waiting for the sofa bed to be made up.Breakfast was not great. The staff were miserable and unwelcoming. The service was poor and there was no food available at 9.45am. We had to wait 15mins for more to be made so we could eat. The standard of the breakfast was also of poor quality compared to other hotels.

Liked: Room and bathroom were a nice size, but unable to look out of the bedroom window as the double glazing panel was full of condensation.
Disliked: The hard pillows, two of which were supposed to be soft.
