Holiday Inn Express Peterborough, Peterborough

If you want a quick visit for a conference etc. then the hotel is great. It has everything you would want, including a little lounge area to read papers etc. This is not a five star hotel for holidays, but for short stays it was great.

Liked: The best bits of the stay were (a) the kindness of the staff (b) the accommodation and (c) the abundance of tea!
Disliked: None.

A good, very convenient hotel.

Liked: Inclued breakfast and disabled room.
Disliked: Found a green cleaning cloth in the bed!

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and well maintained.

Liked: Yes. We will book again next year.

Disappointing

Very good

Liked: The facilities in the room were excellent.
Disliked: It is a long way from the reception area to the rooms with disabled facilities. My wife had to use her mobility scooter to get around the hotel. If the room had been closer she could have managed with her walking aid.

Very good

Liked: Firm but comfortable bed. Well insulated against sound even in a busy hotel which was appreciated. Liked the choice of pillows. Easy access to A1. Breakfast was included. Staff very helpful, even bringing a hairdryer to the room at near midnight.
Disliked: Bad smell from the sink drain/ubend. Weird way to heat the room (heater was under the desk, and smell like frazzled dust when switched on).

Good value for money bed...

Liked: Good size room with comfortable bed and a good shower. All facilities provided for a good night over stay, great to have an iron in room. A good breakfast provided with stay, included in price. Very good value for money.
Disliked: Only slight criticism the towels had holes in them, maybe need to get rid of the old ones!! Also loo paper very poor quality. Would also provide larger size drinking glass in room.
