Don’t ruin your Disney trip...
Disliked: First night hotel AC unit was making a horrible sound. Woke up several times at night to shut off the machine. Next day, I told them I’ll be out for the day please have it fixed. I come back on the second day and now the AC unit is blowing out hot air and when I try to change the temperature doesn’t work. Then you got some extremely unprofessional person that works for maintenance come up here mine you no ID no company shirt just some guy is sweat shirt & pants tell me that I don’t know what I’m doing when he clearly had to take off the unit panel flip some switches to finally get it to be cool in the room. Seriously unprofessional establishment! Not to mention the coffee machine doesn’t work, had to ask for a replacement machine which also didn’t work. Not to mention the kids TV doesn’t work. Not to mention our TV only gets three channels. Very sad for what you pay, this is the type of quality you get.January 25th 2025 9:45pmAnd of course, will they reach out to me with some type of apology no, of course not!

It was a great stay...
Liked: I loved how the beds were nice and a great location and great breakfast
Disliked: Whenever we left the room house keeping didn’t come in to give us toilet paper or towels and the elevator was broken and I’m pretty sure the second elevator was broken as well

Liked: The hotel offers a shared shuttle service with nearby hotels—it’s limited but convenient and cost-effective. Since this hotel is one of the first stops, there’s always a seat available. Breakfast is great for a standard offering, with a decent variety that changes every other day. The individually packaged Philadelphia cream cheese was a nice surprise, but the muffins weren’t good.I booked a twin room and really liked it. The beds are wide and soft, with four pillows provided. The room includes a desk, chair, single sofa, and a large TV. There’s also a luggage rack and hanging space, making it very convenient. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The room has a fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. No bottled water, but there’s a water dispenser on the first floor. Hot water and coffee are available during the day, with options for hot chocolate and tea.The bathroom is stocked with Dove shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, body lotion, and bar soap. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other essentials are available at the front desk, and the staff is very friendly. The pool, however, was dirty.
Disliked: I really liked this hotel, but I ended up giving a low rating because my last night made me extremely angry. The last Disney shuttle was scheduled for 11 PM, but the driver never showed up. Since the shuttle was sometimes 20 minutes late and I thought the driver might be exhausted, I waited patiently for 40 minutes. By then, I was the only person left in the parking lot. I didn’t get a ride back to the hotel until midnight. As a young international female traveler, it was terrifying to be alone in an empty parking lot at midnight. I was exhausted and scared. When I asked the hotel about it, they simply said the shuttle is outsourced and not their responsibility, so they couldn’t help. The shuttle had always been on time before, so I trusted the schedule—until the fourth night, when it never arrived. If something had happened to me that night, the hotel wouldn’t have taken responsibility because the service is outsourced. That is incredibly unsafe, and I can’t forget the fear I felt. The drivers were always nice, but if the 11 PM shuttle isn’t coming, it shouldn’t be on the schedule.

Superb
Liked: Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Room was very clean and everything seemed very new. Free breakfast was good quality.
Disliked: Elevators were questionable to the point where I saw one family get off to take the stairs. Lots of disconcerting noises, moving very slow, shuddering, etc. Only one elevator seemed to be operational.

All in all I had...
Liked: I really liked this hotel - it was a great value stay, feels like higher than the published 3 star rating for sure. There were always lovely kind and welcoming staff (especially Armando and Manuel on the front desk and the gorgeous Gary who helped me out with park tickets and good advice every morning!).The rooms are large, very clean, modern and spacious, with a very handy microwave, full size fridge and keurig coffee machine. The bed was huge and very comfy! There were good quality dove toiletries dispensers in the bathroom- Dove shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand wash, lotion and soap bar. The breakfast was fine- pancakes, bread/toast, bagels, eggs and sausage, hot cinnamon rolls, yoghurts, muffins, cereal, oatmeal and bananas each day. It would have been lovely to have some more fresh fruit options but overall I was very satisfied. I never had a problem with queues and dined at different times each morning. In addition to this there is coffee/tea facilities open all day in the lobby- what a great benefit! I was able to take a fresh coffee out each morning and come back to a peppermint tea every evening. The pool area was great- water was chilly (but it is January) but the spa was hot. The front desk team said I could use the neighbouring hotel’s pool which was heated- I took one trip there for a dip, no problems- but their pool is pretty small so I generally stayed at the holiday inn pool.
Disliked: Few minor niggles as expected for a 9 night stay - the parking fee was a little frustrating but is not unusual these days. The quarter machine in the laundry room wasn’t working, and two of the dryers coin slots were jammed - but reception helped me out by exchanging coins. The Air con was noisy even when ‘off’- the fan continued all night. One of the lifts was out of service some of the time so it was easier to just use the stairs. All of these are minor problems, to be expected in a busy big hotel.

Terrifying experience, nonchalant staff.
Liked: Location was good.
Disliked: We got stuck in the elevator between the 3rd and 4th floor. The elevator kept jerking up and down violently, it felt like it was going to drop. We eventually had to press the emergency button to call the fire department. Before they arrived the elevator started going and opened on the third floor so we got off. There was a staff member standing there and when we told her what happened, she said ‘oh, you can take this one’ then pointed to the elevator next to the broken one. We took the stairs down instead. When we got to the front desk, the woman said ‘oh, I’m sorry for the inconvenience, that elevator was having trouble all week. The repairman is coming next week.’ If the elevator is ‘having trouble’, shouldn’t you turn it off and put out of order signs on it until it’s fixed?! When the fire department arrived, they turned it off inside so the hotel couldn’t turn it back on until they get it fixed. It’s bad enough that we were terrified, but then to have the staff so nonchalant… wow.
