Liked: It was close by where we needed to be, but not walkable for safety
Disliked: We arrive from San Diego early and they charged us a $50 check-in fee for being there before the check in time which we thought was ridiculous since they had rooms ready and in addition, we said something they only cut the fee in half instead of replacing

Passable

Liked: The staff was absolutely amazing and helpfull day.Or night they were always there for you. The location leaves a lot to be desired. And you can't use your Netflix or Hulu. Because their t vs are so old. But I extended my stay because of the staff and the security there. You couldn't get that at a 5 star hotel.
Disliked: TV's are old and outdated. Other than that had no complaint about the room. It was clean comfortable, no issues.

Passable

Disliked: There was no elevator service during that weekend. The pool was out of service during heat wave. The staff worker Gloria who worked at the buffet was rude

Superb

Liked: Good stay, clean and secured with 24hrs security on lobby. Good breakfast. Had good experience on day 1 where staff helped to give hot milk for coffee. Responsive front office desk staff and manager.
Disliked: Location - though it's 350m to north Hollywood subway station, not comfortable to walk with family. This is beyond hotels control.

Great complimentary breakfast, but expensive...

Liked: The area within North Hollywood where the hotel is located is very interesting and had a lot of restaurants.
Disliked: It was expensive.
