Liked: A very unexpected stay. For the price we paid I wasn't expecting it to be such a great hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast included which was fab. Just a short walk to the arena. We would definitely return

Good budget option for families

Liked: Great option for a city stay. We loved the location, which is only a 5 minute walk to the train station and Chinatown. Rooms are compact but had everything we needed.
Disliked: Breakfast was a bit lacklustre but can't complain really as it was free!

Disappointing

Liked: No hearing in the room, very noisy with traffic, and noisy guests banging doors

I'd stay here again

Liked: Breakfast was brilliant! Room was clean, great shower with dove shower gel and shampoo. Staff all really helpful and kind.
Disliked: I think the mattress we had was maybe broken. It wasn't comfortable at all. The fridge at reception with the snacks in was ridiculously priced too.

Liked: Good location less than 10 min walk to the station and main city centre. Plenty of shops and restaurants near. Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean and was also cleaned during our stay
Disliked: Staff could have been a little friendlier

Great hotel, location & price

Liked: Lovely property. Great spacious rooms.Very short walk from train station & city centre.
Disliked: Air con didn’t seem to work but wasn’t too bad because unlike a lot of other hotels you could open the window.

Liked: Check in, nice breakfast, conveniently located and close to centre and St. James Park.
Disliked: Though I indicated rooms together in the booking.com app, the hotel must not have recieved this comment. Because the person who checked us in indicated that we should have indicated rooms close together ..
