Poor for a holiday inn!

Liked: Location was fine for what I needed Room was a good size, warm
Disliked: I noticed the sign in bathroom saying they have toiletries extras if needed and to ask the reception I thought it was a nice touch and I needed a nail file, when I asked the reception guy he told me the hotel do not have these things so the sign needs to be removed.The walls are very thin, there was a family on the same floor as me the children were running up and down the hallway knocking on door of family members, speaking through semi opened door. This went on after 11pm so I did not sleep very well. This isn't directly the hotel fault I know but I didn't feel the reception team were approachable especially after him telling me that the hotel don't have the toiletries, it seems like nothing would happen if I complained about the noise.The bed was comfortable although when getting up in the morning there was a hole in the duvet cover which doesn't seem hygienic

Liked: The room was nice, bed was comfy
Disliked: The staff gave us the wrong door key and we woke someone up when we tried to get in.. overcharged fit parking.. and haven't got back my deposit

Nice, accessible option for London...

Liked: The hotel has a very convenient location, just a couple hundred meters from the Royal Albert DLR station, in a nice green area. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and pleasant. We also enjoyed having drinks and/or dinner at the hotel in the evenings, very nice food & drink options, as well as very enjoyable music both at breakfast and in the evenings. :)
Disliked: Toilet cleaning supplies were missing from the bathroom. We were hoping for a bit more variety at breakfast. There were just classic English breakfast options and the same every day. For people who don't like fried meat, there wasn't any cheese at all, and no veggies other than beans and baked tomatoes. The eggs, hash browns and tomatoes were all pretty bland, unfortunately.

Liked: Staff are helpful and friendly, nice clean room.
Disliked: Pillows where too short and when I commented to staff he said they where standard size which they clearly where not as could just about get my head on and if you rolled off your head fell off.

Good hotel

Liked: Great location and parking was fine as the hotel have their own car park. Air con in the room was very good. Hotel staff where very nice and helpful. Breakfast was great! Bar was good and the evening food seemed nice (we never ate)
Disliked: £20 per night to park which I think is a little expensive. Mattress on the sofa bed was uneven and uncomfortable.
