Disappointing

Liked: Clean room
Disliked: Had a message that food and coffee shop were available 24 h No food at 9.30pm offered a sausage sandwich but a 30 minute wait.Told on arrival that our rooms were standard and had to wait for what was available. Nothing on booking dot com regarding this when I booked. Luckily there was a pizza shop next door. Went for a coffee at 6.30 am, no one in shop to serve.

Stay was as usual good.

Disliked: I’m an IHG member and it was cheaper to book through booking.com than directly with the hotel. This applies to all holiday inn express hotels. I have mentioned this before but with no response!! Can’t see the point of even being a member!

Disliked: A lot of building work nearby ,can be a bit disruptive at times
